About the team

Bij Schiphol Commercial werken we samen met 247 collega’s aan het vergroten van de waarde voor onze passagiers, bedrijven én voor het vliegveld. Wij willen een unieke en dynamische ontmoetingsplek voor werk en reizen ontwikkelen. Daarvoor hebben we drie afdelingen (Parking & Mobility, Terminal Services en Schiphol Real Estate) en werken we nauw samen met veel verschillende domeinen binnen de Schiphol Group.

• Het Commercial Platform binnen Schiphol bestaat uit multidisciplinaire teams met verantwoordelijkheid voor het creëren, ontwikkelen en onderhouden van nieuwe en bestaande business applicaties, producten en services.
• Het team weerspiegelt het belang van digitale en commerciële activiteiten voor Schiphol Group, met een hoge ambitie op het gebied van kwaliteit, klantbeleving, winstgevendheid en duurzaamheid.

Als Azure platform engineer die ons team komt versterken, ben je gepassioneerd over het bouwen van cloud-native infrastructuur, SecDevOps en het vinden van digitale oplossingen voor complexe problemen. Je hebt sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, staat open voor andermans mening en werkt graag nauw samen met andere disciplines om de beste resultaten te behalen. Daarnaast kun je korte - tegen lange termijn oplossingen afwegen en ben je in staat om prioriteiten te stellen.

Je hebt het vermogen om techniek(en) te vertalen naar niet-technische mensen en je bent kritisch op je eigen werk en dat van anderen. Mentor zijn van minder ervaren teamleden is je op het lijf geschreven. Je bent in staat om buiten de gebaande paden te denken, durft te experimenteren, toont initiatief en neemt verantwoordelijkheid.

Wat neem je mee?

• Minimaal 7+ jaren ervaring in deze rol!
• Gevorderde kennis van CI/CD (Github)
• Gevorderde kennis van Cloud infrastructuur (Microsoft Azure)
• Gevorderde kennis van IaC (Terraform)
• Ervaring met het werken in een agile team
• Kennis van Azure Policy
• Kennis van Entra ID
• Kennis van Kubernetes en cloud native principes
• Kennis van een databasesysteem (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Kennis van git

Nice to have:

• Ervaring met websites met veel verkeer/impact van API's
• Ervaring met Azure CAF
• Ervaring met Cloudflare
• Ervaring met GitOps (ArgoCD)

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
