Join Our Team as a Supplier Technical Lead / Azure Solutions Architect

We are looking for a highly experienced Supplier Technical Lead / Azure Solutions Architect to join one of our key enterprise programs. This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will not only advise on architecture and cloud adoption but also proactively identify improvements and lead their implementation within a complex enterprise environment.

This person will act as a technical lead within the Cloud Acceleration Team (CAT), driving forward platform architecture, governance, and enablement to support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Azure adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Supplier Technical Lead within the Cloud Acceleration Team, acting as a key technical advisor across cloud strategy, architecture, and transformation.
  • Design and lead the development of enterprise-scale Azure landing zones, platform services, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant cloud architectures.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, product owners, and operations to embed cloud architecture in business roadmaps.
  • Support the customer in platform engineering decisions, aligning with their DevOps, SecOps, and Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) functions.
  • Take initiative to identify and implement platform improvements, even outside core responsibilities.
  • Guide and mentor distributed engineering teams; facilitate backlog development and delivery coordination.
  • Act as a sparring partner for senior IT stakeholders (including CIO/CTO-level) on cloud strategy, governance, and transformation.

Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

15+ years of experience across engineering, architecture, and cloud consulting roles.

Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including enterprise-scale platform design, governance, automation, landing zones, and service integration.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep), CI/CD, DevOps, API management, and platform security.

Familiar with enterprise architecture standards and tools (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate).

Ability to lead multi-stakeholder engagements, including technical steering and stakeholder alignment at senior levels.

Experience designing services embedded within enterprise IT and operational models.

Skilled in creating and managing product backlogs and guiding distributed development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Experience in large enterprise environments (e.g., manufacturing, financial services)

Familiarity with sovereign cloud and compliance-sensitive environments

Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
