Job Vacancy: Deployment / Cutover Manager at KPN
IF Solutions is looking for a Deployment / Cutover Manager for KPN. The Digital BSS aims to build a state-of-the-art BSS platform to support the Consumer Market Business in its objectives of reducing time to market and lowering costs. We are seeking a Deployment / Cutover Manager to support this ambition.
Objective:
The goal is to lead the planning and execution of deployments and cutovers across multiple releases (prepaid, postpaid, fixed/FMC), ensuring that the transition from legacy to target systems occurs with minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutover Strategy & Planning: Define the overall cutover approach for each release, including rollback procedures, transition states, and Go/No-Go criteria.
- Deployment Coordination: Orchestrate all deployment activities across domains and transversal streams (e.g., data migration, order fallback, service continuity).
- Environment & Readiness Checks: Ensure that target environments, data, systems, and integrations are deployment-ready; manage rehearsals and mock cutovers.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with business owners, IT operations, SI/vendor teams, and PMO to align on timing, roles, and communication.
- Risk & Contingency Management: Identify deployment risks and dependencies; define fallback scenarios and mitigation actions.
- Hypercare Planning: Coordinate the hypercare phase post-go-live, including support, issue triage, and early life operations.
Reporting Line:
Reports to the Program Director and coordinates closely with domain program leads and the Integration Manager (yourself).
