Our services are tailored to the applications facing the most demanding compliance regulations and complex cryptographic needs. We specialize in:
- HSM Services: Managing and maintaining on-premises HSM hardware for I=3 and C=3 applications.
- Cryptographic Key Management: Ensuring secure lifecycle management of keys for mission-critical systems.
- Consultancy & Architecture Guidance: Advising on cryptographic architecture and post-quantum cryptography.
Your Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the secure implementation and management of cryptographic infrastructure. This role is about hands-on technical skills in combination with a high security mindset. With the team, you create solutions for other squads to use in the most efficient way. You'll take ownership, lead initiatives, and guide the team and stakeholders through complex technical challenges. You will not accept the status quo, but actively suggest improvements for the managed services. You automate manual processes, improve monitoring and alerting, and keep security up to date with ever-stricter standards. You navigate the full process to bring your ideas to fruition, including conception, design, implementation, documentation, and approval.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement secure networking and automation solutions (Ansible, Windows/Linux server setup).
- Take the lead in key management procedures and maintenance of on-premises HSM hardware.
- Fix vulnerabilities and incidents with high impact to crucial payment systems.
- Champion process-driven approaches and uphold high standards of security and reliability.
- Ensure robust documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

- Solid understanding of networking principles and secure configurations (TLS, Load balancing, Firewalls).
- Proficient in automation tools and scripting (Ansible, server installation/configuration).
- Foundational knowledge of security best practices.
General Skills

Working Conditions
This job role is split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a 75%/25% distribution. Some changes are planned outside business hours to minimize impact on the business. This job vacancy is for the location Utrecht (NL).
