There are only a few places in the Netherlands where you can work in a large scale IAM environment, with a high level of complexity while using the latest, advanced IAM tools & technologies... and this is one of them!

The IAM Tribe at Rabobank ensures that employees have proper and secure access. We prevent (un)conscious risks or fraud and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. IAM serves as the front door from which employees gain access and it is a key element in securing Rabobank’s infrastructure, applications, and data.

Rabobank has a state-of-the-art IAM platform and architecture using best-of-breed technologies. By utilizing these existing capabilities and adding innovative, new applications, we want to achieve new milestones for IAM: seamless and invisible for end users, and plug & play for our IT colleagues.

Within this Tribe, a dedicated Data & Insight (D&I) Area was created to deliver on the promise of data-driven business processes and decision-making, which includes developing machine learning and bringing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into IAM services.

For this area, we are looking for an experienced data analyst/BI developer.

You and Your Job

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and creating scalable solutions that empower others through self-service analytics. A background in IAM is preferred, but it’s not a hard requirement. We value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a passion for data. Experience with cloud platforms and data visualization is helpful, but we’re more interested in your mindset and potential.

Your job focuses on extracting value from IAM data and converting it into actionable insights. Your team is part of an area that helps to create insights into IAM services and IAM Compliance and In Control topics. You will build reports and insights for business and system owners across the bank, provide management information for domain leads, share insights on IAM customers (employees & engineers), and much more. All these responsibilities contribute to the decision-making process up to the highest level in the bank.

You will closely collaborate with the data ingestion squad and solution architects to build data products that are simple to use and can solve many of the key challenges. Furthermore, the reporting & insight squad maintains key reports that are seen by the highest management and external parties. You will also be responsible for defining key metrics that enable us to track and improve our products. The D&I IAM Area is customer obsessed.

Top 3 Responsibilities

• Designing and developing new data & reporting products in the Microsoft Azure stack, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, Power BI, etc.
• Working together on new innovative solutions for complex business needs.
• Developing scalable data & reporting products to support and accelerate Self-Service Business Intelligence and data-informed decision-making processes.

You and Your Talent

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as computer sciences;

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a BI developer in a complex IT landscape. IAM requires strong technical knowledge, and experience in this area is preferred.

• Experienced in working with SQL and developing ETL solutions.

• Experienced in working with the Azure data platform, including ADF, Databricks, Synapse, and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Python and Spark is a plus.

• Knowledge of data modeling in Analysis Services or Power BI.

• Having at least one of the following certificates is a plus:

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
• Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate

• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Very good communication and cooperation skills.

• Agile mindset and experience in working agile/scrum.

• A can-do mentality, eager to explore and learn new technologies.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
