As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll dive into the world of Financial Economic Crime. Within the Tribe FEC TECH, we facilitate various Fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing, Sanctions, and Customer Due Diligence monitoring and workflow management solutions for all our Rabobank offices globally.
For External Fraud, we are implementing a Pega-based Workflow Management tool to assist Fraud Analysts in identifying suspicious transactions in the financial market. This application will help Rabobank proactively ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory obligations.

Your Responsibilities
- Organize conversations with customers to analyze, structure, and document requirements. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Team to determine the functional and technical scope of new system and data deliveries.
- Draw out and document functional and technical requirements for the design and testing of the application.
- Set up test plans, perform functional tests, investigate issues, and support implementations.
- Conduct impact analyses and draft High-Level Solutions in consultation with the Team and cross-functional stakeholders, collaborating closely with Engineers and Solution Architects.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to define backlog topics.
- Be an essential part of the DevOps team using Scrum methodology.

Duration: 03-11-2025 - 30-09-2026 with an option for extension.
Language: Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.

Checklist for Prospective Business Analysts
On top of that, it is important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below:
- Bachelor / Master preferably in Information Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Economics Science.
- You have at least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in managing a complex stakeholder environment.
- Knowledge of the Banking Domain, financial products, and business processes, preferably within the Fraud Detection domain.
- Conceptual thinking and translating this into practice.
- Sparring partner for the Product Owner, fellow business analysts, and team members.
- Knowledge and experience with configuring (and testing) complex (competitive market standard) applications, preferably Pega.
- Knowledge and experience with defining and describing User Stories, and requirements analysis.
- You understand complex business problems, identify business/functional requirements, and recommend how best to support them through processes and systems.
- Knowledge and experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
- You are functionally strong and very analytical, with a data scientist/engineering affinity.
- As a team player, you need to be flexible, curious, investigative, and you’re not afraid to take ownership.
- Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
- A plus would be if you: Have the Pega BA certification or are willing to obtain it.

Working Conditions
This job role is split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a 75%/25% distribution. Some changes are planned outside business hours to minimize impact on the business. This job vacancy is for the location Utrecht (NL).
